Developer Empyrean and publisher Fat Dog Games have revealed that the upcoming murder scene clean-up game Body of Evidence will be scrubbing its way to Switch in "Q1 2019".
The game sees you step into the shoes of a dead body disposal expert as you answer the call of local business owners, friends, and criminals who have "messes" that require your, erm... unique skills. You'll be scrubbing, mopping, and bagging up the evidence in every scene until it looks like nothing ever happened, and each job will earn you cash which can be spent on new supplies for more complex scenes.
Things aren't quite as easy as simply cleaning, however; each scenario has you working against the clock, and you'll need to return the scene to normal before anyone else discovers it. You can check out the game's feature list and screenshots below.
Features:
- Gruesome fun as you drag and hide the ragdolled bodies!
- A strange collection of characters and scenarios
- Wicked sense of humor and packed with pop culture references
- Multiple ways to pass the levels
- Restock your supplies at your local Warmart
- Bloody scenes in low-poly graphics
No release date beyond the previously mentioned Q1 2019 has been shared just yet, but we do know that the game is set to release for $19.99.
Does this look like an interesting plot for a game to you? Will you be scrubbing up on Switch when the game launches next year? Let us know below.

Cleaning/er is not fun even in a video game lol!
This looks like it could be fun with ragdoll physics and all, but I think Ill pass
This looks awful, and not just the content but the way you clean up or drag your bodies.
Who the hell wants to clean in a real life? Let alone in a computer game.
What's next? Maid Simulator? Butler Simulator?
Is the game based on a true story?
Cool idea! The video didn't really sell me though. Looks low budget, which I guess is all $20 is going to get you.
Sounds like the opposite of something I’d want to play.
When’s Flower coming to the Switch?
I'd like to see Viscera Cleanup Detail come to Switch. This looks a little too barebones aesthetically speaking.
I take it Madonna isn't in it?
Just watched a video of Return of Obra Dinn and I thought it was that for half a second. But it looks fun in its own way, something like Serial Cleaner with an entirely different art direction.
This looks pretty hilarious actually! The cleaning part may get tedious, but I'm always down for manipulating dead rag-doll bodies!
...that came out wrong.
@OorWullie you beat me to it 👏
Wasn't there a pixel styled game with a similar premise on the Switch before?
@justin233
Flower will come to Switch as soon as Super Mario Odyssey comes to PS4.
@Yogsoggoth apples and oranges, one is a first party game developed internally, the other is not and it has an iOS version already. You probably thought the Crash trilogy was a playstation exclusive as well
You know I enjoyed Serial Cleaner on Switch so I might be into this depending on the price.
now there may be more to the game, but from the description in the article......this game sounds dumb as funk, I will usually elaborate on individual things that make me come to my opinions on a game, (good, bad or in between), but just the idea of.......a person who cleans, murder crime scenes and blood added for flair, but it is about CLEANING !!!
it doesn't even seem like you try to find evidence that the C.S.I.'s may have missed, you roll up the bodies (why ??? I mean, the body is taken away BEFORE the cleanup crew comes, so effectively you are contaminating the crime scene) and ONLY clean the area ¿!?¡
WTF ??? who thought this up, what were they on and where can I get some ???
Eagerly awaiting “Tax return filer” the exciting sequel to “sock drawer audit”.
@Bunkerneath Ripoff of Serial Cleaners?
@Daftbomb
LOL, VERY NICELY DONE "Tax Return Filer" LOL !!!
@bunkerneath
I the hell like to clean in a real life...
