Nintendo Unleashes Three More Pokémon 3DS HOME Themes in Japan

Another World themes, too

3DS HOME Themes keep arriving on Nintendo's portable, with the Japanese market being inundated with the most regular new arrivals. As a way of spicing up our systems and getting us ready for some gaming, these Themes have been a welcome arrival on the portable.

Nintendo's certainly keen to show off its biggest brands, too, and three new Pokémon themes have now arrived in Japan. You can see these below, and we're certainly hopeful these will make it to the West.

There are actually a total of 12 new HOME Themes in Japan this week, and the following two for Another World - 20th Anniversary Edition also caught our eye.

Hopefully these will all make their way to the West - which would you buy?

That Rayquaza theme is total BADASS! But I'm really hoping they do a theme like it that just has either Kyogre OR Groudon. Not both. I have the dual Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire theme but I don't use it simply because it's got too much Groudon for my tastes.

The second theme looks nice, I'll probably get that if it releases in the west.

The Rayquaza theme is the best out of those 3 though I'm disappointed that there isn't a theme with Wally's Victory Road battle music.

love them all. I miss having my XL. still have to send it in to be fixed. Just don't have the money right now ($150).

The second one is called the "Mate" theme. A little odd that they would use that word in Japanese. =P

I LOVE the first theme though with the Ecruteak City music and classic Japanese aesthetic. The "mate" one is nice too but a little bland. I'm disappointed though that they all use the same Pokémon Centre healing jingle whenever the system "awakes" from sleep mode. They have thousands of sound effects at their disposal. Couldn't they have chosen something else? Rayquaza's cry for his theme would have been particularly nice.

Oh GREAT... Another thing for Japan. Can North America get ANYTHING? It's starting to make me angry how Japan gets all these exclusive goodies while America most likely won't ever receive this.

Glad Nintendo hasn't forgotten about BW2 totally, since IMO, it was even better than XY, and definitely better than ORAS. But I wish they had the original Emerald music for the Rayquaza theme than the remastered version. It would mean a lot more to me...in fact, I'd probably get it just for the sheer nostalgia of that music, but nope, had to have the remastered version...

Ahh man, how come a European dev's old classic game gets themes in Japan, but not in Europe.

Those better come to Europe soon, looks gorgeous! I need those Another World themes as much as I need the Sega themes that seem to never come outside of Japan to other regions...
