We're certainly fans of speedruns here on Nintendo Life, as few gaming pursuits push the boundaries of games and those playing them as far. Whether world records in classic Zelda games that exploit errors in coding, or flat-out runs that tackle every stage in order, there's plenty to enjoy in seeing the best of the field show off their skills.
This effort from Karl Jobst is particularly special, however. He plays three classic Nintendo 64 games at once, all on their original hardware with no mods, and does so in under an hour. The games in question are GoldenEye 007, Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, with some well-known shortcuts and tricks used to cut down on time; what's particularly impressive is Jobst's time management, using cutscenes and pauses in games as an opportunity to quickly shift controllers and make progress in another title.
It's quite extraordinary to watch, so we think the exclaimed curse at the end is rather justifiable. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Impresionante.
Impressive but not my cup of tea. I prefer 100% speedruns, although they tend to take much longer.
I only skipped like 1 minute. It was a nice watch switching between 3 amazing classics.
Goldeneye suffered the most by having to look at walls for much of the time. It strikes me how amazingly different these games are and also how muddy and gross the N64 graphics were. That era of trying to look somewhat realistic using hardware that was so far from capable produced some incredibly ugly smears of imagery. lol.
Very cool
Ugh, Karl is a douchebag. I'm not overly fond of him.
However, I will admit that he does have great skills on GE and PD.
I hate that Zelda speedrun trick. If you're using a glitch that cuts out 95% of the game, I just don't consider it a clear.
Wow that was cool.
