Kirby Deluxe Art

Kirby: Triple Deluxe isn't far away now, arriving in North America on 2nd May and in Europe on 16th May. We've seen some of the mascot's new abilities in action, attractive new footage and plenty of snippets to raise our anticipation.

Nintendo UK is wading in with a new dedicated website, and one of the best parts is the section that shows many of Kirby's new abilities in action. The site itself has neat mini-videos for the new abilities, but the details are also below for your reading pleasure.

Archer

Kirby takes on an archer’s mantle, targeting enemies at a distance with his bow. He can also hide behind pop-up objects, while performing sneaky attacks.

Beetle

As a creepy-crawly, Kirby spikes his foes with a beetle horn in numerous ways. Better still, he can now fly during jumps.

Bell

Kirby rings the changes, blasting his enemies with sound waves from a variety of bell-ringing attacks.

Circus

Go acrobatic as Kirby performs somersaults, juggling and ball balancing. He can even produce balloon art!

Hypernova

Once he eats the Miracle Fruit, normally at the end of a level, Kirby’s inhaling strength increases vastly, letting him suck up or move huge objects and enemies. He can also spit back anything thrown at him – handy when there’s an enemy in your path!

Meanwhile, the following 'classic' abilities are confirmed to return:
