Star Wars Pinball Confirmed to be Bringing the Force to 3DS

Expect '3D' to tag onto the end of the title

Very recently we shared the news that a PEGI rating had been spotted for Star Wars Pinball on the 3DS, which was pleasing for fans that just can't get enough of the title.

Happily, Zen Studios has confirmed to Nintendo Everything that the title is indeed coming to the 3DS, but said nothing else apart from that more details will be available "very soon". We imagine those details will be mostly "like on consoles, but on 3DS", but there could be the odd surprise; perhaps the tables will be available to buy individually as on smartphones (unlikely) or the 3DS release could coincide with confirmation of more tables, as the Wii U version of the game has six mysterious, empty boxes on the front screen that would look better with actual content.

We'll know soon enough, but it's another welcome release for (presumably) the 3DS eShop.

I love the Zen studio pinball games and look forward to the Star Wars Tables, but I wish the would update the engine for the 3DS so you can just add the new tables as DLC like on the PC, android and IOS instead of seperate games for each set of tables.

I was quite surprised to see this in my email this morning as someone fond it and posted it on the forum topic I made yesterday. Can wait. Now all I care about is a date and these things usually happen pretty quickly once the news is out!

When Zen Studios say "very soon" that doesn't mean anything. They've constantly said it for 3DS DLC since Zen Pinball 3D came out and there's been nothing apart from the 4 Marvel tables.
