Talking Point What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 25th)
Here are our picks, but what are yours?
We've made it to the end of yet another week, this time bringing with it a successful legal battle for Nintendo relating to the Wii Remote and the news that the DOOM team has "bantered" with Nintendo to get Doomguy in Smash. We can dream. Now, though, it's time to put all of that aside and discuss our week

Random Yoshi's Woolly World Composer Keeps Sharing Negative Tweets About Crafted World's Soundtrack
Accidentally, or entirely on purpose?
Yoshi's Crafted World has been around for just under a month now, and while the game is predictably adorable in most areas, one particular feature is a little less-than-perfect: the soundtrack. We, and many players who have been sharing their thoughts online, have felt rather let down by Crafted World's...

Hands On Getting Arty In Yoshi's Crafted World On Nintendo Switch
Where there's a will, there's a PVA
When we first clapped eyes on Yoshi’s Crafted World, we’d be lying if we said our first thoughts weren’t something along the lines of ‘oh look, another Yoshi game’. That’s not to say we didn’t like what we saw, but the Yoshi series has always played things a little bit safe in the past, and at first...

This game looks awesome, but one minor question/concern...
I saw some "bendy straws" in one of the pictures, will this game be legal to sell/own in California ??? LOL
I do have a serious, albeit not an important question, I also noticed the Yoshmeister is fuzzy/furry, most people had always seen him as a smooth skinned dino-type reptile, this is obviously not a yarn game, so where is Nintendo trying to take the Big Y ???, it may be a Paper Mario-ish type game thing, but unlike Mario himself in those games, Darth Yoshi is himself is 3D in this game, so again, why furry ???
I love cute games from Nintendo, and I pre-ordered this game based on that. After getting it and playing through some of it.... Let's just say I will be putting it on the shelf to look pretty with the rest of my collection.
The game isn't inherently bad. It's just extremely easy and boring... to me. I think this is probably a great game for a very young child possibly.
I played a handful of levels, and put it away on the shelf.
This is a great game. It has a bit of busy work in it, but overall a great game.
This game deserves more hype. I have no idea why more people dont talk about how good of a game this was, yes it's more of the same but still it runs well, looks amazing, and adds some stuff that makes the gameplay more interesting ( the ability to add armor/cars or wtv you want ) anyways great game. Worth the price and this is probably ibe if the best games for kids.
@PharoneTheGnome It's a good thing you shelved it. Everything you've seen out of those handful of levels you played is basically the rest of the game (and as a huge Yoshi fan here, I wish I was lying).
The visuals in the game are amazing I love the style of arts and crafts and this game nailed it with their design the game is overral a hidden gem for the switch 🤩
