About The Game

Not your everyday bedtime storybook!

As Piki and Poki get ready for bed, they begin reading their favorite Arabian adventure storybook. All of a sudden, a hand reaches out from the book and pulls the two children into its pages.

Rusa, the childrens pet monkey immediately panics when all of a sudden the Arabian family from the storybook appears and offers to lend a hand. Now you must take control of each of the Arabian family members in an attempt to rescue Piki and Poki from the many dangers found throughout the mysterious storybook.

Yume Koujou Doki Doki Panic is the game that Nintendo inserted Mario characters into in order to release the game as Super Mario Bros. 2 outside of Japan once the original Japanese Super Mario 2 was deemed to be too difficult.
