I didn't see a topic yet for Friend Codes, so I decided to make one. To unlock some paint schemes on your bike, you need a certain amount of points. There are Anyone points and Friend points.

Could these points act as a way to compare with other racers, like a leaderboard does?

Not sure, The races with iphys were the 1st Friend Code races I've tried. The next time iphys is online via a Friend Code race, I'll check if there's a win/loss/point tally.

By the way is it really fun jumping those ramps?

There are no records for racing via Anyone, you just race random people. I've raced several of the same players in separate sessions and there's no data saved for win/loss/points. All you see on the Lobby screen are each players Name, Bike (paint), the amount of Anyone Points he/she has accumulated and what track they've selected to race.

The tilt controlled jumping/landing is great, you can even land on other players (knocking them out and resetting your Temp gauge).

I'm pretty sure there is no win/loss tally for Anyone or Friend races. You earn more points for finishing fastest, but you earn points as long as you don't get a DNF in a race, so having a lot of points might mean you're good or might just mean you play a lot. The points don't seem to have much meaning aside from using them to unlock different bike paint jobs.

Kind of weird, but finishing 1st/2nd of 2 people only gives you as many points as finishing 3rd/4th of 4 people. Looks like it's probably going to take a long time for people to earn the 500 Friend points to get the last unlockable, since most Friend matches will probably just be 2 people and are harder to set up than Anyone matches.

DNF?

You get timed out after something like 30 seconds after the race is won and get a DNF. Happened to me once when I encountered some sort of bug that left my guy tumbling perpetually in the same place. It was on one of those jumps with the level section halfway up, and I couldn't get my guy over the top and couldn't get him to fall back down off the level section to the ground so he could finish his wipeout and get back on his bike.
