Topic: Cave Story, or...?

I have a brand new 2000 point card, and I must know...I hear Cave Story is totally awesome but at the same time I have yet to play Sin and Punishment and need to do so some time before its sequel's release. So I am out 1200 points either way.

What are some good 800-point WiiWare games to use the leftover points on, as well?

If you've never played the Ace Attorney games, you could try one.
Also, get Sin and Punishment.

moomoo: Neither of those are 800, they are 1000 and 1200 respectively. I really haven't played many of the 800 point games, but a couple ones that I know are good are LIT and Bit Trip Runner. Best of luck.

That is the one I was considering...is it kinda like Virtual On? That's what it looked like from the review and pics.

Still undecided on the 1200 point game...come on, sway my opinion with your arbitrary reccomendations!

They are pretty similar, and Overturn has online modes and customizable weapons/armor colors. As for the 1200 game, I'd go with Cave Story.

SNES is the best way to go for 800 (though if less works, then any of the Bit. Trip games get my recommendation). is there a genre of game you're looking for?

I have most of the VC SNES and Genesis games I want. I just wanna know which game would give me a lot of value-for-money.

i'd say go the Bit. Trip route, then. they're tough enough to last you a while, and i've found myself going back to mine even after i've finished just because the music is so dang head-bobby/foot-tappy!

I have to disagree. Most of the Bit Trip games are very good, but they won't last long once you do beat them. I know alot of people who have already beaten Bit Trip Runner in a day or two.

Sin and Punishment and save your points for the next game. (Cave Story) Unless you NEED to buy something. Maybe Overturn if more people played online.

I still wanna know if I should get the shooty- time N64 game or the Metroid-style spelunking WiiWare game.

Plus you can't go wrong with Treasure, it's scientific fact. I think I will get S&P and OverTurn, if it's as fun as I hear

S&P and Cave Story are both great games, but you will probably enjoy, and spend more time with Cave Story (and you'll actually understand the story)

As for 800, definitely get Bit. Trip Runner. It's super awesome.

(or you could just get the first three Bit. Trip games, they're all awesome)
