Actually, it DOES have Gamepad usage. The ninth player uses the gamepad to choose what color the background is and that in turn affects the course, itself.

Shantae may as well been in the game if she's not going to be in Smash Bros.

Is the multiplayer strictly local and no online?

We don't know, but considering the way multiplayer works (you hook up classic controllers to wiimotes and then you can use both the classic controller and the wiimote as two separate controllers with the Gamepad making player 9.) I don't tyhink much effort was put into online capabilities, which is fine by me, because this isn't really the kind of game I would play with people online. I'd have precisely as much fun playing against computers and likely wouldn't notice the difference.

Bump because Runbow just got a new trailer, which is actually exclusive to this very site!

Looks like the guy I thought was Beck was actually Clone from Invisible Inc, but that's besides the point. According to developer 13AM games, this game has already been submitted for certification and we should expect to see the final product "very soon." I wish Nintendo operated in actual dates, rather than vague words, but oh well. Still super hyped for this game!

The real question: is this everyone or are there more surprises in store for later?

I'm surprised they don't have a character that is just a bow with legs. Run...bow...

THE BOWHEMOTH! Runbow comes out in five days! Who's ready?

My hype for Runbow is literally almost up there with Super Mario Maker. I'm so excited for the 27th.

Runbow is coming to Europe in September, with Australia/New Zealand and Japan to follow!

The online is a bit empty since it's currently only in America at the moment, other that that I've been having a blast with the game!

Yeah. I won't be getting it until at LEAST next Friday. By then, it should have a LOT more traffic.

I have no idea why they decided to not re-offer the demo now that this game has been released (just the demo, not the discount). I dowloaded it back during E3 and to be honest I wasn't too fond of the gameplay, or probably I was too mesmerized by the awesomeness of RIVE to react to other games. I would certainly give the demo another go now.
I feel it does everything I want from a "Nindie" - it's exclusive to WiiU, has both local and online multi, fair asking price, almost simultaneous release in both regions (watch and learn you cretins at Nicalis) etc etc.
The only thing stopping me from buying it is that I wasn't too impressed with the demo and there's a ton of worthwhile stuff on the eShop at the moment to take risks on one game I wasn't too fond of the first time around. So if anyone is willing to share a honest view on the game it would be much appreciated!

Anyways I may look into this, can't buy anything big this year...so, I may get it.

Now it's got such good reviews, I wish I'd downloaded the demo.
How good is it to play single player? The number of times I have a party of 5 (my number of controllers) at my house are rather low.
