is there any reason to be excited about the upcoming cloudberry kingdom? it seems to have quite a few supporters but when ever i see any of the game it looks really bad. it looks like some insanely hard flash game with really floaty controls.
I've been following info on this game since it was a Kickstarter project like a year ago. And it looks challenging, and I'm in a good mood for a challenge!
yeah ill give it that one like it does look insanely difficult but by the looks of the controls its gunna be to much for me to handle without frustration. platformers are usually my favorite genre too.
But there are plenty of other difficult Platformers out there; ones that look better than this one and have better controls. This one is more about memorising the levels and the perfect (only) path through it - making it more of an intense puzzle game with a lot of memorisation than a Platformer. The randomly generated levels also mean that you'll never be playing hand crafted levels; which cant be beaten in terms of design by automatically generated ones. Just my two cents though.
I really like it. In story mode it was very easy at first but it slowly and steadily sends you into harder and harder levels as you learn the controls and the many different modes. You reach points that seem impossible but, you feel compelled and dead set on completing them just to prove to yourself that you can do it.
Multiplayer is fun too as it starts to feel more like a competition on who can survive and things can get pretty intense in those situations. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. With a challenging story, fun multiplayer, and an endless supply of levels, it was well worth it.
Ok well at least it's not just me. Maybe it's a common problem that will be fixed in an update. Because that's when mine is freezing too. And I'm playing the NA version.
Currently Playing: Splatoon, Need for Speed Rivals
one question.
i beat the game (world 6 / stage 240), and the ending came, followed by the unlocking of world 7.
i digged a bit into it...
but does world 7 really have a whoppin' 80 stages (241~320)?
