Yesterday, I purchased and downloaded Punch Out Wii for Wii u. I was really excited to play it, but when I loaded it, the gamepad and TV went blank and the controllers were unresponsive. I had to unplug it to restart the system. I downloaded the game on my hard drive with external power. But I downloaded Mario Galaxy 2 on that hard drive and it played with no problems. Has anybody else had this problem?
The file could be corrupted, I suppose. My BIT.TRIP RUNNER 2 file was corrupted somehow and I can't boot it up or delete and redownload it unless I reformat the whole hard drive. And I just haven't taken the time yet to do that and redownload all my games. No matter how much it bothers me to have an icon for an unplayable game on my system, or how much I want to replay it, it's just a huge hassle.
I don't know if any of that sounds like the problem you're experiencing, but my copy works just fine and it's the only idea I have. :/
I guess it could be corrupted. However, I was able to delete and download it again. Actually, I just found this post (http://techforums.nintendo.com/thread/38041?tstart=0) where it looks like this person is having the same problem I'm having.
