Well I've never played it so I guess I'll finally give it a go.

Its not actually that easy as people claim it to be. Sure, it looks like a kid's game but adults playing it are supposed to be trying to find the 30 watermelons instead of the other fruit. It also has a few hard to avoid instant deaths on some stages. And yes, there aren't that many stages compared to other games but its a high score type game where you're supposed to find all the secret stages and keep replaying them to get high scores.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
Too backlogged to pick it up and would much rather have Star Fox 64 here in NA, but I have warm memories of Yoshi's Story. Short's not a problem for me if the content is good (and when you're talking $9.99, which is about the price of a 2-hour movie), and it's charming as all hell.
Plus, the apples. Or be careful. Or the end-o. Whatever.
Fun game. I played it on the Wii VC. Won't be getting it twice though but I recommend it. Also as said above, it's not the easiest game. It can be, but then there are actually a bunch of challenges that were tougher than you'd expect for a Yoshi game. But Yoshi games will be like that, I just always thought this was one of the more difficult games.
I remember my cousins had this game when I was a kid ages ago, I never got to play it, just watch how they play it, so at least it's finally out on the e shop
I'm keeping my expectations low and neutral as I know this won't be as good as Yoshi's Island, but hey maybe I'll moderately like it at best, though I do think $10 is a bit too much for a game I hear is very short
I go by Serenity, but you can call me Silver
Currently playing: DKC3, Yoshi's Story, and Paper Mario

Compared to the SNES game and the likes of Super Mario 64, yes it is. Think of it as more like the platformer equivalent of single player Mario Kart. Once you unlock all sixteen stages, ignore all fruit except for watermelons, and keep playing to fill your high score table for each stage.
