Actually, the remotes I have that use a charging station do that constantly. And I'm always re-syncing them. Sometimes (especially during DKCR) I would just loose the connection in the middle of playing and they would flash. So maybe if you're using re-chargeable batteries or charging station attachments, regular batteries might be a better option.

I am using rechargibles. Thanks guys.
Is it the Nyco brand? I had there recharger destroy two of my Wiimotes. Luckly Nintendo is an awesome company and they replaced them in two days.
I just wanted to second any warnings about the Nyko batteries. I was having all sorts of problems with my Wii remotes until I ditched the Nyko ones and just started using regular batteries. Fortunately they didn't destroy my Wiimotes, but it was like having brand new ones when I started using standard batteries.
As far as I can tell, the problem with theirs is that the batteries fit too loosely inside their alternate covers and tend to get jostled out of place through regular use.
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.
Does it do the same thing with AA batteries? I have NOT had good luck with any rechargeable product for the Nintendo Wii remotes... I bought the Energizer charge dock -- the one you stick the controllers in... one battery bricked the next month and the 2nd one a couple of weeks after. A few months ago I bought the Energizer charge pad.. where you lay the controllers down on it. This worked very well for maybe 2 months and then the charge pad just died... will not charge either controller. I'm sticking to using AA batteries for now.
