I was surprised today when I watch an HD movie on the Wii through Amazon. I'm not saying the Wii supports HD or anything but the video quality looked almost HD, higher then 480p anyway. I'm sure it's because of a higher bitrate. Using the Wii with component cables here. Anyone else experience this or tried it?

Due to my 360 I have never found a reason to use any of the video services offered on the Wii.

I have definitely found this as well! I was watching a few movies the other week on my old wii and noticed it looked far better than 480p

I use Netflix, and movies look good.
