Topic: Pausing

Playing MK8 currently and I had to pause the game, When I came back the gamepad says "Press A on the controller you want to use". Well I want to use the gamepad but when I hit A nothing happens. What do I do so this doesn't happen again as I have to get up and pause things alot.

Just press A when the screen lights up from being dark.

Thanks, I tried that but it didn't do anything. Maybe it was just a glitch then.

I haven't had to walk away since then yet so it hasn't happened again yet. When it happened the first time I had to use the home button to reset the game. I will test it the next time I start a race.
