Topic: Nintendo Rewards for Platinum Club Member

I kinda want to get Mario Kart 64 in the eshop with my coins, but I'm afraid I should hang onto my coins in case they are required for the platinum reward this year. What would you guys do or plan to do yourself?

It's ok you can spend them and it won't affect your status.

Spend. You don't need them for your status, you can never count on better rewards being offered, and the physical rewards are just getting more and more overpriced with time.
