I don't like the search feature on the latest browser update. Instead of just opening a text box that doesn't use one of my tabs, it goes to a crappy custom google search page. And it looks like it omits 75% of the results. It's annoying and the old one was better.
It's pretty bothersome so I decided to just bookmark Google's homepage. It may not be the best alternative, but it works.
No, I get that. I'm not saying it's some horrible thing that ruins everything.
My issue is that anyone with half a brain could tell you that the old system was better. It just pisses me off when Nintendo just tries to "fix" something THAT ISN'T BROKEN! Fix Nintendo TV or something that people actually COMPLAIN ABOUT!!! Add new features, make it easier to personalize, just DON'T TOUCH WHAT WORKS FINE!
What's worse, they don't listen to our feedback on updates unless people get really pissed. To make it worse, I don't think they even HAVE a way of listening to English complaints. It just goes to Nintendo of America, which does nothing about ANYTHING!
...Sorry... Had to get that out. It's just frustrating how Nintendo has consistently screwed up since the creation of this console. And they REFUSE to realize that THEY SCREWED UP! The President just implies the failure is because people have bad taste in video games instead of fixing the problem.
I absolutely hate this! Even with google bookmarked, I accidentally open this custom search all of the time when typing something into the url box, which lets you type your entire entry before taking you to a search engine that doesn't have good entries.
Sorry about the thread revival; I was gonna start a new thread before I found this one. I might send Nintendo a suggestion email; I don't know if that will do anything, but at least I'll get my feelings out about this. It's so dang annoying for someone who uses the gamepad for internet all of the time.
