Topic: Is Nintendo U Controller chargeable???

Has anyone noticed or read if the primary Wii U controller is rechargeable. We go through a fair amount of batteries on our wiimotes. I am hoping the main Wii U controller will be able to be plugged to the console and charged like my PS3 controllers.

To answer your question, yes. It can be charges with the same AC adaptors used for the DSi, DSo XL, 3DS and 3DS XL. I wonder if there will be one in the box...

I go by Lin1876 everywhere in games, so keep an eye out for me!

You could always just get a Nyko Charging station. Works great.

Anyone who plays their wii more than a few times a month needs to have a wii remote charger. I can't imagine how quickly the gamepad would've ate through batteries.

No, it'll use 6 AA batteries and the charge'll last almost as long as the Game Gear. It's going to be great!

It's rechargeable alright, but some people feel the battery life is too short. I'm sure some third-party battery will come along with an extended life.
