Nintendo should increase the amount of new and retro tracks and battle courses, which would mean creating more cups. The Wii U is powerful enough to hold more data. I also hope they add more characters while keeping all the characters from Mario Kart Wii and 7. I hope that there will be five/six player support, although I'm not sure how it might work. They could possibly make it so you can drive three to a kart, maybe? I doubt that will happen, but it's not exactly impossible.
this is basically what im hoping for too i know i still will get it
i just want to be able to have more tracks though more new then using retro and for me a big thumbs up would be bringing back the old items or even the special items from double dash D=
my 3DS friend code: 4468-2280-4674
i stopped playing mario kart now and moved on to luigis mansion :P
I don't want to be the guy who isn't excited about Mario Kart...but I'm not excited. Especially if it's coming out so soon, which means less to add new things I would assume. Part of it is that I desperately need to play more than 1 racing series again, part of it is that they're really gonna have to blow me away to get me to buy another Mario Kart. I really hope this game goes all out and does something really surprising and new.
well lets wait and see how long its been in development first

though i would love retro tracks plus recent ones from mk7 put in the wiiu version, however i wouldnt mind if it was just entirely new tracks or perhaps some new tracks inspired past games that havent been made
also assuming if some of the other wiiu games havent finish yet perhaps tease the 3D mario game in Mario kart U in the form of a track or something that might be pretty cool

Well true...I'll give it a chance. Let's see what E3 brings...

ummm....? just because the game is coming out this year doesnt mean they havent been working on it for years now. Who says itll be rushed? who says that Nintendo hasnt been working on it since Mario Kart Wii?

lolno
beyond that, releasing a full HD Mario Kart would take plenty of time and even the 3DS one was blatantly rushed, unless you think it intentionally had less features than the last 2 games. Major console HD games take time, one of the reasons Pikmin 3 has been taking forever despite being announced years ago.
Honestly at this point I would accept waiting for DLC for the retro courses if it meant the game added something interesting and new enough.
