I plan to PS4/Wii U and 3DS/Vita so I won't miss that much this generation. I don't think I could go all Nintendo anymore after the Wii not getting support.

WAT!

Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.

Pretty much what I plan to do. Plus I'll probably upgrade my PC at some point.
The way I see it, if playing games is your hobby and you love your hobby, why limit yourself to just one platform to play on?

I can understand not having enough money for more than one sytem, but there should be nothing stopping you from saving money up.

Bethesda, welcome to my list of "companies to not buy any games from next gen".

Any company that just does this without a good reason just doesn't deserve my money. I will have an XBOX ONE, and I still have a gaming PC, but I am just not gonna buy Bethesda games anymore.

We don't know the reason, it may or may not be valid.

When they even refuse to give a reason, its definitely not a good one.

it was already kind of pointed out in the first page - his reason may be valid, but perhaps he just doesn't want bad PR? It's a smart move on his part to not want to go into it.

hah, I've actually been coming up w/ different formulas to try to limit my game spending this past half year... only buying from certain devs/publishers, only buying X # of games after X # of backlog is finished, etc etc. Nothing has seemed to stick w/ me.

BUT, I think I've figured out what will really help. Just go Nintendo + PC for this next gen. Though there are a ton of 3DS games on the horizon I want, I only expect to a handful of Wii U games I'd want to buy over each of the next couple years. Which is perfect! Plus, ~80% of the games I'd want for PS4 will be out on PC anyway. Wii U really is the only console to offer a truly unique gaming experience, it would seem.

Ultimately, I'll still get a PS4, just for the (alleged) streaming backwards compatibility w/ all 3 prior PS systems. Heck, Vita is (allegedly) supposed to have that too at some point. Could get a Vita... nah, PS4.

It ain't easy being cheesy...

Too bad japanese developers don't support the pc, so i know that's not an option for me. I'll likely get a PS4 in few years, and it'll be a hard wait.

That would explain why Nintendo is reaching out to the indie-PC market with Armikrog and A Hat in Time. If they know people might revert to the PC, they'll just bring the PC to the Wii U.

Ever play The Neverhood, Skullmonkeys, or Earthworm Jim? Their creators are making a new point-and-click, claymation adventure game called Armikrog, coming to Wii U, PC, Mac, and Linux! But first we must support their Kickstarter by June 27!

I think its more to do with, nintendo figures if they support these indie devs in their early days then down the road as they grow they will in turn support nintendo. Since nintendo cant seem to get 3rd party party support with current companies, they will help build forming ones that will support them.

I rent most games, and the ones I buy I usually wait for them to drop in price.
Every couple months I just have a blow out and buy loads of new games or a new system ect.

My last blow resulted in The Last Story Ce, Xenoblade Chronicles, Demon's Souls CE and the Fire Emblem Awakening OST.
