Metal Mario, P Wing kart, Retro Off-Road wheels and the Cloud Glider. You can't get cooler than that.

Luigi, Flame Rider, Retro Off-Road tires, and the Mario Kart TV glider; a great combo for death-starring! Oh, and drifting, but mostly death-starring. lol I almost always get good results with this combo, usually coming in the top three in online races with it. I love the outwards drift it has; makes turning corners easy at any angle!

Also the whole Tanooki Mario set up works really well put together + Tanooki Mario driving.

I tend to go for a a mix that emphises acceleration and handling and staying as light as possible.

I usually get bored and change my set up but my old go to was Roy with the Varmint and standard wheels

I've done best so far with Rosalina in the P wing with slim tires and the parasol.
Although Link on the master cycle and triforce tires with the hyrule glider is also really good, I find.
