I've had like 600 points collecting dust for months now, while I wait to see if anything I want to download is released. It's been so long, I forgot I had those points! I was burning a few minutes a couple of weeks ago by going to check out the VC top 20. When I saw how many points I had, I decided to try something: Download a game I already have on NES, for the sake of comparison. I downloaded Final Fantasy, and it looks much crisper and more vibrant playing it on Wii! Oh, this isn't a VC drought. This is VC Death Valley!!!

@ Waveboy Personally I liked Ristar a little better. Dynamite Heady can get really frustrating towards the end. It's still a good game though. Both are excellent choices. Oh and Gunstar Heroes is amazing! It's fast paced and action packed! It's like Contra only a bit more forgiving and more cartoony. Another cool thing is you can choose which stage to play first like in Mega man.

@ Waveboy Have fun with Castlevania! Just in case you didn't already know holy Water is your friend when fighting Death. Jump on the upper left block and toss it down like crazy. He swoops down right on top of it and never has a chance.

yall guys need to get Alien Soldier on VC, its a Genesis game made by Treasure (same folks that made Gunstar Heroes) and its an import. watch it on youtube to see for yourselves how awesome it is

@ Waveboy Yeah I kinda figured you've beaten Castlevania before. That holy water trick works wonders if you can aim it just right as Death swoops towards the floor. It also works on Castlevania 3. Death aparently really hates holy water.

Anyways, did Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts do the same thing regarding beating it twice? I only finished that one once, and once was enough, since it was pretty rock-hard as well.
yep the whole series is like that, ive never finished the game twice...mine is saved on the second time around last level for me still...
Well, then it's safe to say that they're not even worth finishing twice if there's just some bare bones teeny weeny little change to the ending. The first time trying to finish the game was a major chore in bogus brutality frustration. The 2nd tiem i schooled through it Mike Tyson style. LIke I said, I expected some crazier finall boss the 2nd time around, but Capcom copped out!
Finishing Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts once was enough for me! Now it's time to revisit Castlevania And then go head to head witht he spooky rollercoaster ride that is Ju-On:The Grudge. I'm still in the Halloween horror gaming groovey' since my October got a little fudged up with the lack of a working TV.
when you beat Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts the first time around the princess tells you shes hidden the "power" bracelet...thats what you use for the last 3 bosses. there is a different boss at the end but i havent managed to get to him. you get to him right after the two bosses before him. if you youtube it youll see what i mean. ive been trying that last level off and on for over a year. i can get to the other 2 bosses but rather the timer runs out or i die.

I got a few new VC games just a few days ago. I got Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, Super Ghouls N Ghosts, R-Type III and Adventures of Lolo 2. Before that, the last time I bought anything off the VC was back in May. Even though nothing new has come out in a while, there are still several games I'd like to download still. I also wish I would have known sooner about the Master System version of R-Type being removed so I could have picked that one up. I hate seeing games being removed
Yeah I couldn't find any matches last night, amazing game though! Hopefully the online streetfighter community picks up if we get an online vc streetfighter
We got our Wii last Christmas, so theres tons of games for me to catch up on. I'm having the opposite problem with too many great things to download. I would still like more arcade games though like TMNT 1 & 2, X-Men, Arcade Stryder and others. But all in all I'm happy.
