Topic: Unicorns of game power-ups?

I was thinking about Castlevania IV and thinking about how there were only a few 1-Ups in the game, and those are all hidden in walls (except for one in 2-3 hidden by foreground). I think meat in Castlevania platformers has always been hidden in walls?
Did CV1 or 3 have them?

But I remember the 1-Up in Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts. I recall the manual listed it among the power-ups, Nintendo's Super NES Player's Guide just printed an illustration of it, compared to a screenshot of the other power-ups. I thought I had gotten a 1-Up once as a random drop, one time playing the game in the early '90s. Though I'm not as certain of that as that I got the Chris Houlihan room in ALttP once in 1995. It was in the cave on the cliff next to the Sanctuary. And I would be left wondering what it was until several years later.
But, yeah? Anybody ever actually gotten a 1-Up power-up in SGnG? (not the one awarded at I think 20k points and then every extra 40k). Funny that they made extra CONTINUES, FAR easier to get than an extra LIFE. (to the point I didn't even know there was a limited number of continues. The CRT I had played on when I was a kid would clip that part off.

Anything other power-ups in games which seem ungodly rare or hard to get, beyond reason?

the new fad/talk is the mandela effect.
were having one right now!
there was wall meat in them all but simons quest.
i think every game but simons quest...
my favorite part about simons quest was finding draculas "parts"
gotta use both hands for some of his parts

i dont think there was a one up item in super ghouls n ghosts. i didnt see it in the manual or in the game...
did you use both hands for draculas parts?

@ogo79 Well, now that the SNES Classic manuals have been released... I see the US SGnG manual only says ...1-Up... in the Pots description. The Japanaese manual (which is of course far more colorful) has an illustration.
I think the JP manual is saying you start with 5 Credits and get one for every 10/12/15/20 money bags (depending on the difficulty level). I did not know that. And it also specifies the extra life point totals as 20k, 60k, 130k and then (I think) every additional 80k.

@KingMike

draculas parts in castlevania 2 are heavy
and require 2 hands
dracula has large parts
being in the same boat as him i understand how this works.
