Well we didn't do the "guess the game" this week as we're planning on sticking with the "spooky" theme for October. That means all of the SNES reviews on Friday will be spooky titles. The first one tonight will be Demon's Crest. Should be up in an hour or two.
Woo hoo!, 'The Legend of the Mystical Ninja' had ghosts in it, I'm not sure if they will be spooky enough for the October theme, though (Doh! it has already been awarded an 8/10 by Damien, http://vc.nintendolife.com/reviews/2007/03/legend_of_the_myst... so I am barking up the wrong tree there!). Part of the fun is guessing which title will be reviewed for next Friday, the 9th October. I'm sure that Natsume's Kiki KaiKai/ Pocky and Rocky had ghosts in it too (it certainly had goblins, including Rocky the racoon, a Nopino goblin).
I am passionate about retro gaming, from antiquated consoles to the continuation of classics. Obviously I love PSone, and PS2 retro games. I blast my ears to breakneck melodic punk, gruff vocals and nimble alternative guitar hooks.
The mystical ninja games has some of the best gameplay I've ever seen. The SNES Mystical Ninja and the first N64 game are two of my favorite games ever made. I still need to play the 2nd n64 outing, it looks like great fun. I'm going to guess one of the Addams Family games will be next
@y2josh I guess that it could always be SNES Goemon 2 or 3 as a (relatively) eerie Super Nintendo 'Spooky October' Review Friday game. 'Zombies Ate My Neighbours' is another possibility, as is Konami's 'Castlevania: Dracula X' (Vampire Kiss/ Akumajou Dracula XX). You never know, only Corbie has the answers!!!

Did SNES Goemon 2 and 3 even have a spectral element? I've played a little bit of the 2nd game (on GBA) and I don't remember coming across any ghosts (note to self, do not post comments at 5.30am, after lots of fun Friday night partying!). I am struggling to guess this one, it might be 'Ghoul Patrol' and 'ClayFighter' had Ickybod Clay. Naxat Soft had a Super Famicom game called 'Dorabochan' ('Kid Dracula'). I am wracking my brain to despair here! How many days is it until next Friday.... 6 whole more days. Arrrrgh! lol

Well, Super Ghouls'n Ghosts has already been reviewed, as well as those other Halloween-themed titles. What other titles could there possibly be that haven't been reviewed yet? Buster Busts Loose! has a Halloween-themed stage, but it's just one stage and just a thought. Scooby Doo for the SNES is an obvious given choice. Still, can't wait for the next review!
Yay, it is Friday tomorrow, not long to wait now until the next NLife 'Super Nintendo Review' Friday game, the second of the October 16-bit spookers! Any last minute "guess the game" clues or hints, @Corbie ?

Adventure of Dr. Franken Aliens 3 Bebe's Kids (Don't laigh this game gives me nightmares) Castlevania: Dracula X Casper King of Monsters The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang Warlock Wolfchild
Nice one, Zombies Ate My Neighbours, I look forward to reading the review tomorrow, @Corbie. It also means that I've saved a few bob this week, I already have this game on the Mega Drive and although there are differences, I do not think they will be enough to warrant a brand new purchase. Cheers.

Not sure, I've only played the one that was released in America. If there were more released here I didn't know
@y2josh I've got the second Goemon/ Mystical Ninja as a Japanese import on my Game Boy Advance, but there is a lot of unreadable text to the point that I did not even work out how to save my game! (Doh... that is bordering on pathetic!). Ignore my comment (no.7), I was talking a shed load of rubbish. From what I've seen of 2 and 3 there was no longer any ghosts, they were only in the first Mystical Ninja. You are right as far as I know, I do not think that either of the sequels were released in the US or Europe.
