Topic: Old Gameboy Game Title Please?

Hi!
I'm looking for a gameboy game I used to play way back when it was monochrome screen. I remember it being pretty basic I think all you did was buy a unit and send it into battle. The battle was side scrolling and you didn't get to interact with it. You basically just watched your unit Walk slowly and finally meet the enemy unit in the middle of the screen. I think if you won the battle your unit would keep walking and engage further enemy units until it was defeated. I believe at that point your next unit would come out. I think winning battles got gold and you could buy better units. That's really all I remember but I could swear it was called ogre battle! I can't find any indication that there was an ogre battle game before Super Nintendo however. Does this ring a bell?

The only thing that comes to mind when you describe this game is Bionic Battle. I'm not sure if that is what you mean, but it seems pretty close. When you say 'unit' do you mean a robot? Anyway, good luck with finding it, and let us know when you do!
