The only arcade in a mall by house closed down a few months ago. All that's left is a go kart place, Main Event(like Dave and Busters and GameWorks), and some restaurants. Surprisingly, a good portion of my arcade memories were at CiCi's Pizza and Fuddruckers.
My favorite arcades games: Street Fighter series Tekken series Time Crisis series Dynamite Cop Virtual On The Simpsons Arcade X-Men Arcade Captain Bucky O' Hare TMNT Hydro Thunder NFL Blitz NBA Jam Daytona USA Cruis'n USA, World, Exotica
Some I haven't got to play in a long time. Thankfully, most of them are available on XBLA/PSN(or sequels).
All the arcades by me have mysteriously disappeared over the years too. The arcade games I remember most were the ones that either supported a lot of players at once or had big bulky controllers.
Rampage Final Fight TMNT X-Men Shadow Over Mystara Assault After Burner Silent Scope Polybius Dance Dance Revolution Harley Davidson and L.A. Riders Samba de Amigo San Francisco Rush
The Best Forgotten Games topic reminded me of how great the Ikari Warriors series was in the Arcades! Also does anyone remember an overheard fighting game by Sega that involved time travel to different time periods? It was also on the Sega Master System? I'm trying to remember what it was.
