Topic: PvZ: Garden Warfare 2

I'll join in with this thread and say I'm looking forward to the beta which begins if my calculations are correct in about 5 minutes. Love Plants vs Zombies and the original Garden Warfare, I was sold on this month's ago, I think I'll be getting it on Xbox One.

Yeah, Tbh I never known about Garden Warfare (1st one) until 3 months ago when I saw it on a store shelf. I got interested in it last month when I saw the Origin PC sale and started doing research on the game.

I was excited to learn about the beta just now but got bummed after I found out they don't have the beta for PC. Guess I'll just watch the videos later.

I believe the first game was given away for nothing during the PlayStation Experience in 2014; it was pretty good fun and doesn't take itself seriously however, I am not one to play online multiplayer games for lengthy periods of time.

It's good to see that this sequel improves on all the little things in the original!

The beat for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is now up on the PlayStation store by the way, for those of you who are interested.

Glad this game is getting some attention, hopefully I'll have some more friends on the PC version to play the Ops games with. owo

Been playing the Beta & it's just as good as the first one if not better, I like the way they've done like a hub it's a big town with AI plants & Zombies battling. On one half is the Zombies side of the town & the other is the Plants side, also each side has its own den where you access MP Ops etc, you can also change sides any time you want. Not only that its got areas you cannot access yet, and there is a flag in the middle where you can earn coins for beating waves of Zombies, it's all pretty smart. The new characters are very fun to use, I'll be picking PVZ GW2 up as soon as it's released, and this time around its got a single player mode too.

I am surprised PVZ isn't on the Wii U also it's a shame its not.

I would like to join in with the praise for this game based on the beta, it does seem to be much more packed with content that the first, and I'm loving the new characters. Fell through the map one time too which was a thing.

Anyone got the beta on one of the consoles? Was hoping to find videos of the Ops modes, but I can't find any.

I did, but got no videos really. I just played and didn't take anything.

@Megumi: You could not access Garden Ops mode in the Beta, the Beta was mainly for the multiplayer side of PVZ Garden Warfare 2.

Figures, was hoping to see if there was another new plant boss in Graveyard Ops...(I do know there's a Sunflower Queen now, though)

Well the Pre-loading starts today, if no one posts before the game launches on the 23rd, then I guess I'll attempt to revive it and post again when I upload my own gameplay videos.

I bet this would have come to the WiiU if sales ever picked up.
But I got the first one from my PS+ ages ago but I don't have a PS4 yet D: I'm excited for it when I do get one soon though. Physical version is really cheap now though, especially used. But free is always better eh?

EA owns Popcap...so Nintendo versions aren't happening.

I think the Kernal is my new favorite.

@Megumi: I agree 100%, Kernal is ssssoooooooooooo good. Catching people out with his vaulting jump attack is great.

Brought the game Monday night ($42.77 on cdkeys) and played it yesterday. Despite having to lower certain setting to have a "ok" frame rate, I'm enjoying the single player. Also happy I can use my Steam controller on it since I can use the gyro to aim. As soon as I can work out some hardware issues I'll join in online, I fear the frame rate speed if I go multi with my current hardware specs.

Short version of the story, I need a better graphic card (currently GeForce 720) and if I do get one I need to buy a power supply that have the power and connection pins to support it (currently turbolink ps 500w).
Pretty much it would of been cheaper yet more powerful if I bought all the parts (better parts) separately and build it myself instead of an already made one.

Edit: Well I learned two thing last weekend. That I can increase my graphic card proformance with a program and that online multiplayer is no more demanding then single player. Played quite a number of garden/graveyard ops.
