Anyone have this or still play it? I never got that far in the game (used an emulator, game kept locking up/crashing and got sick of it, lol) and seeing how I can actually own the game legally, I'm thinking of getting it at some point. Not entirely sure if my phone can handle it, so I may wait till I get an iPad for it after I get the Switch.
Anyways as far as I know, the online is still up for this game which is the main reason I made this thread. If you don't have it, it's $15 for iOS. (no idea if there's an Android version)

Honestly, You can get a vastly superior monster hunter experience for 15 to 20 bucks on either Wii u or 3ds...
Not that the PSP games weren't great, (even though I'm pretty sure they permantly deformed my hands) but without buttons... Its not just that the series has made some great strides forward since freedom unite... The concessions they had to make for the game to be practical to play on a touch device is just too much. Monster hunter is sharp, precise and tangibly chunky, like a tasty metal riff. On the phone its soft, auto timed and mushy, with only the monster hunter visuals being the same. Like modern American main stream music.
On the other hand, they should put MH stories on the phones, that would be a great fit.
I already have the 3DS/Wii U games, I still want to see some of the monsters and maps in Unite that never made it in recent games. (such as Shen, Hypnocatrice, or the other 1st generation maps that aren't in Generations)
