Hey everyone — I'm the head developer at Starfall Studios, a newly-formed four-man indie team, and we just launched a Kickstarter for our 2D stealth platformer Sneaky Ninja, for PC/Mac/Linux and (most importantly) Wii U! Sneaky Ninja is what a stealth game made by Nintendo might look like: it blends the strategic stealth action of Mark of the Ninja with the lighthearted platforming fun of Mario, wrapped in a unique visual style and accompanied by a stellar soundtrack.
Being heavily inspired by Mario, getting a Wii U release is a big priority for us. So you won't find Wii U support in a stretch goal $50k above everything else — it's included in our base goal. We've already been approved by Nintendo as an official Wii U developer, now we just need money for software and hardware to finish the game and get it into your hands! Take a look and let me know what you think!

First off, let me just say thank you for providing a link to your game's trailer on YouTube. For some reason, the Kickstarter videos often don't load for me. As for the game itself, it looks pretty awesome. I'm not exactly great at stealth games, but I do enjoy the concept of them, and what was presented of Sneaky Ninja looked fun and beautiful.
I'm likely to be purchasing myself a notebook laptop within about a week, so I'd prefer to hold off on adding funds to any Kickstarter until after I've seen how much money I have left over from such a purchase, but I'm pretty sure I'll have plenty of funds left over, and some of which I'll be more than willing to contribute to your Kickstarter. I'll add Sneaky Ninja to my reminder list just in case I forget, but for now, I wish you good luck with it.
Thanks so much guys, I'm glad you're liking it! One day in and we're 14% funded, thanks to anyone who's donated! Even if you can't donate, sharing with friends and spreading the word is greatly appreciated!
I'm not sure exactly where the line is drawn here between just an advertisement and evil spam, so I guess I shouldn't post every time we update. But if you're interested in finding out more, we'll be posting updates to the Kickstarter every single day, so you know where to find them!

No problem! I've had problems with Kickstarter videos in the past too (even when it works, the quality's often not the best), so I made sure to have a Youtube link up. And thanks for the kind words! Happy laptop hunting!

Starr Mazer has (amazingly. Don't know how the heck it's possible) not been fully funded yet! But they've got a little over a week left to go and they're almost there so no need to worry yet! Definitely go fund it if you haven't already, it looks so incredible! Get the donations going so we can see it on consoles!! Go, go, go!
SullytheStrange: I like the look of the game! I might just sponsor it Though I must ask— why the title? Just to be straightforward? Or..?
Thanks! That's a fair question I suppose. It goes back to when I first started working on the game aaaalll the way back 4-5 years ago. I was just playing around with the idea, and the initial design was much smaller than what it ultimately became. A title reminiscent of Angry Birds was fitting at the time, but even once the game got bigger, the title stuck with me and I just couldn't imagine calling it anything else. It's a bit of a silly name, but it's a bit of a silly game too!

Strength of the Sword Ultimate has a lower stretch goal for it's Wii U release? Awesome to hear. It looks to be doing very well considering it's in it's early days. I may also consider contributing to this Kickstarter as well. Luckily it has plenty of time left, so I can wait until my upcoming laptop purchase to see whether I have the funds to left to contribute to both Sneaky Ninja and Strength of the Sword Ultimate.
I've sadly had to pass on a few Kickstarters before because I wasn't sure on my budget at the time.
Starr Mazer is in the final hours for its campaign! The kickstarter ends this Friday! At the time of writing this Starr Mazer is less than $9,000 from being fully funded!! Let's hurry and make this game a reality!
It'd also be awesome to have the game on consoles so everyone can play this when it's out! Hopefully we can reach at least one stretch goal. For some incentive a new reward was added: a backer only T-shirt and it looms aaawwweesooooommme!
Wish I had the cash to back at that tier. I need a job!
Strength of the Swords WiiU stretch goal status...Imminent $38584-$40000 with 19 days ta go. I want this to like max out ya? Or at least give us dark mode.
Star Mazer Funded FINALLY with 2 days left. Though there may not be time for any stretch goals... especially for making it to consoles....

A WiiU version needs $66,000 out of its $13,000 main goal.
Starr Mazer is having a 24 hour live stream on twitch right now to get some final donations. Come join its fun! They reached their first stretch goal at 180,000, woohoo!! Let's get some more backers and reach the console stretch goals last minute!
EDIT: Starr Mazer has ended and it did not reach console stretch goals. However, you can still preorder the game at Starrmazer.com and it will count towards the stretch goals so there's still hope for it to see Nintendo consoles.
This is my last post on this game, I swear. I'm just very excited for it lol.
