Whats to appeal to Call Of Duty now days, isn't it all the same, and after COD5, will we see Modern Warfare 3?

Its opinion. I like it because it's fun and addicting but it can be annoying due to the idiots playing it most of the time.
It's the same yes. Now day's sequels use the same engines but have improved coding. They'll usually change the UI around or in Black Ops case, give it a new coat of paint.
The whole argument for it being the same is stupid. People buy sports games and they are all the same but with little tweaks and upgrades, people bought Mario Galaxy 1 then bought Mario Galaxy 2 when it's the same engine and UI. And now with Fallout New Vegas. Point is, just because it's the same doesn't make it bad at all.

Also, no one know's if MW3 will come around as Infinity Ward lost half their developers due to Activision not paying the CEO's of the company and therefore they left and so did some other people at IW.

Black Ops is based around the Cold War I think? It is an interesting idea and hasn't really been explored. I need to see some reviews and gameplay to figure out if the gameplay won't bug me as much as some other CoDs.

Regarding the kill streaks, I don't see any reason at all for them to be removed except for the nuke. There were a few that were overpowered in COD:MW2 (hello, chopper gunner!), but they you can counter them all fairly easily. The problem is there have been countless times my teammates have gotten chewed up by a helicopter, Harrier or AC-130 and yet they still refuse to switch to a class with the Stinger equipped. It's not rocket science, people.

They went too crazy with killstreaks...thus COD4 is vastly superior to MW2.

It was just sit and camp and call in killstreaks and just pad your score...no skill involved what so ever. Ruined the gaming experience...

I hope they reel it back some, too much killed it.

They have a bare-bones mode for COD4 style gameplay and with the 3-5-7 killstreaks in one of the bare-bones modes.

We have over 15 Gamestops in my local city and at the one I frequent they have 435+ reservations of this game already at the one story. That is Insane.

@Sean I'm really excited for two things. Create-a-class 2.0 and the new wager matches. I really like playing games like that. (like what you saw with me and my friends the other day XD) One in the Chamber and Sticks and Stone's look the best though.

Please don't.Technically, if I bought this game, it would be my first CoD that I have bought where the money would go to him. I have one used; I only played MW2 at a friends and also played MW. I always picked Medal of Honour over Call of Duty previously. But since the new one is so similar to Bad Company 2, I will probably not get that one.

I try not to remember and just play the game because at the end of the day, most CEO's are a bunch of money wanting a-holes.
Plus I like to support the development team.

Who gives crap! Nintendo doesnt give a damn about you either. They are one of the largest companies in the WORLD, but yet you get crap online and a overpriced WiiWare, VC, DSiWare that is so stuck on itself it wont even run sales on its games like all its competitors. Not to mention locks all your content onto the console even though its you property that you bought, because they are scared you might let someone else play your game instead of them paying for its high price!

Come on gimme a break man, Call of Duty, wether you like it or not, is always and and always has been pure triple A titles that get better and better with each iteration.

Not really, MW2 wasn't that great. I played about five matches online and it got really boring. My friend owns it, and he never plays it because it is so boring.

Hopefully Black Ops will be better, but I'm way too busy to play it.

I guess I should direct you to the 400,000 people that play MW2 on the PS3 alone then.
Then the 360 which should have around 600,000 People on MW2 or even more. Definitely more than the PS3 version anyway.
Then the PC version which probably has I'd say 100,000 playing it.

I know that people play it, and it is still fun, but I just don't think that is is as good as its predecessor. However, its a newer game, so of course people are going to play it more than the old one. Just because a million people play it doesn't mean it is as good as previous games. And concerning the xbox360, all the really good games on it are shooters, so of course a ton of people will be playing the most sold shooting game on it.

The main point being that if a game is being played online by thousands of people then it is doing something correct.
I never said it was better than it's predecessor because it has more people playing online, but then again Counter Strike 1 has more people playing it online than it's sequels and spin offs.

The PC version of MW2 was possibly the hugest rip off coming from such a big name title. Especially considering that two games previously, there was nothing wrong with the online. Seriously, whoever thought that no dedicated servers was a good idea should be crumpled (yes, crumpled) and burned alive.
