With Captain Toad confirmed, I think the next will be 3D World as the issues behind a 3D World port would've been the exact same issues behind a Captain Toad port.
Now that you mention it, it would've been the perfect 2-game collection. Super Mario 3D World + Captain Toad.
They've got to milk these games individually for as much profit as possible. They couldn't possibly do that.
Now that Captain Toad has been confirmed, I feel Super Mario 3D World is a safe bet to come to the Switch now. I'm excited to get the chance to play Treasure Tracker on Switch, I regret never taking the time to get it and play on my Wii U before I sold it last year. I enjoyed the little puzzle levels in 3D World.
Of the top 25 best selling games on Wii U 12 have either ports on the Switch or sequels that make a port unnecessary. There are another 4 that don't have an equivalent but I don't think would make much sense to port. Wii Fit U, Nintendo Land, Wii Party U, Mario Party 10. Which leaves these games:
New Super Mario Bros U/New Super Luigi U
Super Mario 3D World
Super Mario Maker
Wind Waker HD/Twilight Princess HD
Yoshi's Woolly World
Pikmin 3
Paper Mario Color Splash
Of those? I think it'd make more sense to do Skyward Sword HD either alongside of or first rather than just do Wind Waker and Twilight Princess again. I think New SMB is unnecessary if they can do Super Mario Maker. I don't think they're going to port Yoshi when we're getting a new Yoshi game this year and they already ported it to 3DS. At this point I think they're very close to running out of Wii U games worth porting.

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
Still think Captain Toad should have been DLC for 3D World.
Absolutely gutted that it’s another lazy port and not a complete sequel.
Gutted, not surprised though, Classic Nintendo @SLIGEACH_EIRE
I'm gonna say Nes Remix as no one else has mentioned it yet.
I could also see Mario Maker as the obvious one but maybe they are going in for a sequel to avoid the problems connecting the old creator levels to the Switch. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE could be released after the new Fire Emblem to build on their hype but Atlus may not want to do any work on it when it was a flop and they could go
We had a ton of fun with NintendoLand, but since it was so tied to the Wii U, I doubt we will see that. We played it a lot and enjoyed nearly all the game.
Go Vacation: We played this game a lot on the Wii and Wii U. I am sure this style of game has come and gone, but it was one we got a lot of playtime with.
I think New SMB is unnecessary if they can do Super Mario Maker.
I don't agree, unless they'd add a local multiplayer (co-op simultaneously up to 4p as in NSMB) to Mario Maker. Local co-op is one of the features that make NSMB a good franchise imho.
