It’s like Operation. It takes a steady hand.

...I have a steady hand, but the editor still makes my drawings look terrible.

@Joeynator3000 use the grid. Also if you're drawing multiple shapes to make one object try to do it using the line draw instead in one motion to draw one shape. It takes up far less. For example a t-shape top rectangle and middle rectangle will fill the metre as two shapes. Drawing it with the line to form one shape will take up less space.

If you check out my DK stage you'll see you can fit a lot on a single stage if you work at it.

Sometimes the grid won't help, especially when trying to draw curved shapes. I still feel like the weight thing is stupid, especially when you compare custom stages to the official ones.

@Sidon_ZoraPrince The Grid doesnt help at all. It's a good guide but the screen doesnt pick up your pen strokes precisely.

The grid is perfect for straight lines, but that's about it.

You could try using a culmination of circles in the back ground to form a rough idea of what the object should look like. Then try to trace that in the fore ground adding necessary detail.
Or you could try drawing small then stretching it. That can help.

But when input isn't accurately read nothing will be perfect i guess.

Huh...can someone enlighten me on what I did to make the spirits on the spirit board NOT disappear, if I lose them? Is that because I beat world of light? Or did they change something about it in an update?

What a beautiful signature.

@Tsurii The DLC spirits don't go away. The normal ones though, I THINK there was a random chance that they could stay though. It happened to me a few times.

Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill

I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!

Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.

@EvilLucario talking about the regular ones and those straight-up don't disappear at all anymore. If that's RNG, I'd rather have that kind of luck in Monster Hunter tbh lol

I think the Legends give you a few more tries before they vanish. (maybe the Aces, too)
That's how it goes for me anyways.

EDIT: I think Event Spirits stay as well.

Labo event incoming with brand new spirits on the 26th.

Where am I going! Nowhere, unless if I say otherwise!

Just made two Mario stages:

  • FKM5M6PX / Spacejunk Galaxy
  • R0F2LR86 / Sand Bird Egg

Made a Resident Evil 4 stage: "Salazar Castle".
I tried to replicate the big area with the robot/statue near the end of the castle. However, I couldn't add too much due to the editor limit. Still, I think it looks ok.

Hey all, been taking a break from Smash. Planning to hop back in this weekend for the Spirit event (I swear I'll grab the real Labo when I have more room) I just had a question. Am I able to play Piranha Plant's Classic Mode without worrying aboutmy save data? I assume that that was fixed, but I wanted to ask to be sure.

@Andrew5678 I’ve not seen the PP issue brought up again since, so I’d imagine it’s safe. Thanks for the reminder about the Spirit event!

@AlohaPizzaJack I hope so. I haven't heard anything recently either, so I assume it was fixed (no way anyone wouldn't be constantly harping on this, and rightfully so). Still, probably going to turn my Cloud off when i get around to it eventually to be safe until I get through it without a hitch, just to make sure.

On another note, good luck boxing this weekend

Random opinion here:

(Dark)Pit might be the most underrated character in the game. Pit's a character who I think needs a lot of practice because his hit-box's are kinda odd placed. Also, he doesn't have any moves that kill at ridiculous low percents. His attacks are mostly balanced. I did however notice some strange priority on certain moves. (not talking about side-B's super armor).

Pit has a lot of tools at his at his disposal and by far the best recovery in the game. If he isn't directly launched into the blast zone he can always manage to get back. One of Pit's best pressure tools is neutral air: it works wonders against opponents who like to jump. It's super safe to use out-of-shield too, probably one of the best out-of-shields in the game.

Down special is also an excellent move. Down special doesn't just reflect projectiles it also makes you temporarily invincible against any move that isn't coming from directly above or below. Not for very long, so timing is still important. Down special is very useful for controlling chaos in Team Battle or Smash.

After playing the Pit's for a while my other mains felt lacking. Palutena said that everything an angel can do a godess can do better. So after playing both Pit's in Elite smash I gave her another try and came to the conclusion that this is false. Palutena has flaws I can't really put my finger on. She is great on paper: her down special is both a counter and a reflector, eplosive flames are an unstoppable projectile and autoreticle tracks your opponent. But it doesn't win me any games somehow... Maybe it just comes down to practice again.

So who's better? Pit or Pittoo? I really can't tell honestly.

A piece of the Triforce appeared before you! (>'.')> Touch it now!

2 questions guys:

1: So I can get all the Persona Spirits in the vault, minus the Joker spirits (I don't have the Joker dlc)?

2: Do you guys recommend summoning spirits by giving up spirits you have. I mean, I now have 1128 spirits. Obtaining the rest will be more difficult. I have summoned a few, but only with the cores of dismissed duplicate spirits. I rather not give up spirits, but it may be the easiest way to get a bunch of the remaining ones.
