@CharlieZee The game that immediately comes to mind is Night in the Woods. The characters are animals in this one but the story is incredible. The other game I'd suggest is Oxenfree.

Just to let everyone know that my PLiSD has now disapated.

This thread was what has finally pushed me over the edge and made me buy a LiS game (True Colors), but I am hacked off because I've previously avoided buying the Arcadia Bay Collection at £20 and now you can't find it for under £30-something. I'm sure it'll come back down again, but it means I'll have to wait before I can start the LiS journey.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

@gcunit firstly, i'm glad this thread has created interest in this series of games.
Secondly, you don't need to play them in order.
As I've mentioned somewhere before, I played true colors first and then came back to LiS1.
I've still got LiS2 to play.

@CharlieZee Thanks for the reply. I had a feeling True Colours was standalone, so thanks for backing that up, but I have a tendency to insist on playing games in their chronological release order in an effort to get an authentic experience of the evolution of a series.

@gcunit hmm. It's not pivotal to the true colors story but there are two things in tc that refer to the first game and with the one, a certain event will play out ACCORDING to how you answer a question.
Also you won't be able to start true colors until you answer the question.

@CharlieZee Thank you, that sounds significant enough to add to the argument for pumping my LiS brakes a bit longer.

I totally get where you're coming from. Life is Strange has a way of really sticking with you, doesn't it? As for playing Life is Strange 2, it's a tough call. It might help distract you, but it could also intensify the PLiSD. Maybe take a break and try something different for now?
By the way, how do you guys deal with increased anxiety levels? I'm becoming more and more stressed at work lately, and my friend advised me to check out CBD gummies (like at https://joyorganics.com/collections/cbd-gummies). I heard they also help with sleep. What are your thoughts, have you tried them?
