Topic: Slime morimori remaster?

So apparently DQM the dark prince is a remake of a 3DS game and that got me thinking.
Would they do a remake of the slime morimori games? For those who don’t know what that series is the 2nd game was released in the us as dragon quest heroes rocket slime.

@Greatluigi what game is DQM3 a remake of? I’ve not seen anything suggesting that…

@Ryu_Niiyama I dunno i just saw some comments that said that apparently DQM3 is a remake or something.

@Greatluigi no it is just DQM3. It’s set in the same time/universe as DQ4 but it is a new game as far as I can tell. It’s not related to DQM:J. DQM 1 and 2 were remakes on the 3ds though.

This is the first I've read suggesting Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is a remake. I believe it's completely new.

That said, I'd love to play more of the Slime MoriMori titles, either through a new game or ports of the two titles that didn't make it out of Japan. Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime is arguably one of the best spinoff games I've played.

@Tyranexx I would like a new entry myself (but wouldn’t say no to a collection)… and DQM3 is not a remake you are correct.

@Ryu_Niiyama Regarding DQM3, seems as though Square Enix released some additional info earlier today. I posted the link in the appropriate thread.

I was genuinely surprised with how much I enjoyed the tank combat in Rocket Slime. It was pure, calculated chaos! Heck you could even fire fellow monsters at the enemy. XD
