Topic: Paladins

Same here, I've just stopped trying to get into Ranked. It's not that I don't have five minutes to wait for a match. I can wait five minutes. But it's five minutes to wait for the first qualifying match, then glfive minutes to wait for the next qualifying match, and then five more minutes, and so on ad nauseum for as long as I want to keep playing, all so that I can have a slim shot at getting competitive in a game I'm not really sure I want to be competitive in.

So no thanks, I'll just keep hanging out with the rest of the casual players until you guys sort this stuff out or the next thing comes along and steals my attention.

Still a lot of fun.

It's crazy how a game of this calibre is free! I mean, the graphics are gorgeous, the teamplay seems extremely balanced and is tons of fun. There were players using me as a shield, and vice-versa as I was flamethrowing and machinegunning with a tank, and at other times supporting my teammates with magic and crazy specials. And I'm amazed that the controls (especially the aiming) work really well. I guess the auto-aim option on default helps a lot, however I think gyro motion would make the game even better, obviously.

My only real issue is the audio volume. It's way too low even when cranked up to 100 in the sound menu. I always need to up my tv volume from 10 to a whopping 60 to hear anything and then lower it back down to 10 for every other game. Hope that gets fixed.

So I finally decided to give this a try. Can anyone tell me why roughly half the time, when I jump into the quick play queue that I just get booted back to the main menu?

That’s because someone didn’t accept invite to match and if someone didn’t pick champion (from your or enemy team).

My only complaint is how long it takes to boot up the game and long loading screens.
I hope they can improve on that field in future updates.

Percentage of noobs in this game are getting higher and higher. I’m not talking about shooting skills or whatever but if you take support you should support your tank and other players ffs. I’m so pissed right now. Can’t win a match because everyone wants to get kills like that’s the most important thing in the game.. specially in Siege and Onslaught modes.
I can’t wait to unlock Ranked mode. I hope people in ranked at least know they roles.

Also.. that Koga is so overpowered and annoying! His claws have range of sniper ffs. How can that be. And his ultimate...
Maybe it’s time to take a break from Paladins

Paladins is a game I really want to like.

Except it rotates characters out if you dont own them, as part of a free rotation.

It has every form of monetisation imaginable: Lootboxes, Battle Passes, DLC, Season Passes, Premium Currency, Cosmetics and Character purchases.

AND today I found out that some of the characters I had been using on free rotation and had the most play time with....are GONE! Flat out not in the store, on the list, even in my play history where I clearly used a character on a live stream, now says I used someone else.

This game just WANTS me to hate it.

I think they temporarily moved them from game because voice pack bugs or something like that.
Today was update but I can’t find any info what they changed/fixed besides those characters removal

Does anybody know why the founderspack is unavailable for purchase in the nintendostore?

Because it was pre free version release thing.
You can buy all characters bundle with crystals but it costs slightly more.
IMO it’s better to buy Battle Pass because you get plenty of golds which you can use to unlock lots of characters.
You won’t like to play with all characters anyway

I bought the champions bundle and the season 2 battle pass. The battle pass vundle isnt worth it anymore, because the first season is already over

This is why I gave up on Paladins. I'm very much a casual gamer with low ability and I'm a slow learner of games. I play games because I enjoy them and have no urge to play competitively. I love Paladins but couldn't find a role that I felt that I could do well so I stopped playing. I'm too aware of comments like this and know that they're aimed at people like me who try but take time to master the game or just can't play well.

Was anyone able to obtain the Onyx Stallion? It's the mount you get for subscribing to their channel on YouTube. I didn't know how to get it.

Sorry to hear that you gave up on Paladins already but my complaint wasn’t against players like you (I guess) but if someone has supporting character on lvl 15 and don’t bother to heal tank now and then that’s got nothing with low skills.
You can always take flank or damage champion and if you are not a pro that’s fine, really.
I enjoy most playing with tanks and healers because my aiming skills are not so great.
My advice is that you pick a roll and character that you enjoy and stick with it until you perfect his abilities.

Played my first match on Switch last night and am very impressed with it. Looks, runs and plays great in portable mode.

Pro heals looking for some more folks to run with. Running Seris almost exclusively right now, but all chars are unlocked.

I’ve been playing paladins on my switch since I bought it in December 2018. I have several chars unlocked in each class. Lately I’ve been playing Imari. But I’d like to play healer who is the best healer to play for a new player?

@StarLord Depends on what you are looking to do. Grock is the simplest, just drop your healing totem and stay alive. Groot, er Grover, is a little more active as you have to either stay with the team to heal or stand back and do damage. Janos is light on healing but more capable of entering into the action, just keep your healing power activated on people. Seris can be a healing beast once you understand her, and Furia is similar to Janos in that she is more tilted towards being active in battle. Mel'Damba is just a pain to use effectively (in my humble opinion).

Of them all Grock is probably the easiest to master in my opinion.
