I decided to exchange my Nintendo Switch because of some problems with the unit itself. The new one has a noticeably warmer screen that almost looks like it's covered in a yellow film. I'm read some thing about how this is normal but it still bothers me because my original looks so much better. Will I get use to the new screen or should I try my luck with another exchange?
In this image you can clearly tell that the top unit is cooler than the bottom:
Here is another one with the dark theme. Once again you can tell the top screen is cooler:
I can see a difference there. But photos are never entirely accurate. I assume you've check through the settings? If you are unhappy with it, and can exchange it, why not just do that?

This reminds me of the 3ds revisions (both of the original model. I had a launch(ish) aqua blue 3ds that had a bright clear screen and I traded it in when the L button broke (gutted because these days, I probably could have fixed it). Later I got a cosmos black 3ds in a sale and it had a warm yellowish screen and I was gutted about it because of that and because the colour wasn't as good as the aqua blue. I kept it though to play certain games in 3d (by this point I had a 2ds that had regular use - the design was just too cool to pass up!). I looked it up and apparently Nintendo quietly replaced the screens in newer production runs of the original 3ds but don't quote me on this as it was a long time ago that I read it.
