Topic: My left joycon wont connect to my switch

I bought the tablet and the joy cons separate on ebay so I could save some money, but when they both came in I tried connecting them, but only the right joy con is connecting, and its stuck on the screen telling me to connect both of the joy cons. I dont know what to do.

Is the left one charged enough? I guess you wouldn't know since it's not connecting. Maybe try charging your switch with it connected for a while then try again

@NintendoByNature already tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the reply tho

Maybe try the left joy con on another switch if you have one available. Otherwise it might be defective

First mistake get the seller to refund and or replace your Joy-Con by sending them to Nintendo to replace. Those are your choices. As this is a eBay seller and buyer to resolve NL can't help here.

@Xraxeon24 - if you look at the edge of the Joy-Con, the edge that slides onto the Switch, there is a little button.
Press and hold it down for a little while, it should reset the Joy-Con and hopefully it'll connect with your Switch now.
