More than worth the $20.

Solid gameplay (both single and multi), fun progression system, lots of customization and playstyle options, various skill challenges. It’s definitely got a Call if Duty feel to it, meant as a compliment.

Oh, and micro-transactions have been removed.

If you’re into military FPS, this one’s a no-brainer.

Yeah they could have optimized a little more. Still very mobileish but I will support in hopes of them giving us more and better in the future.

Anyone have a chance to play modern combat yet? I bought it but have not had time to check it out, planning on diving in tonight.

I heard from spawnwave and rgt85 that it has frame rate issues. Also I am curious about online in general. From the videos I saw matches were being started for team battles as 2 on 1 rather than just waiting to find an even number of people. Also curious about multiplayer modes. In the mobile gameplay video I saw there were objective modes like capture the flag. But on switch I have only seen people choose team battle or free for all.

@Frosty_09 paid $20 because I wanted this kind of game in my switch library and currently there are no ads or microtransactions in the switch version of the game, though they could easily add them at any time.

It is very unfortunate that there is no cross play. Just played a match and it was a 2-1 so not really the most exciting online experience. Hopefully more people will pick this up so we can at least consistently fill out both teams.

So I spent the 20 and I think it is worth it. I do feel like the developers are being silent on the game. I hope it sells well and turn a profit. I think they should be more outspoken because there is nothing else like this on the switch. With that being said I feel the game could have been a better port. This is basically a straight mobile port. Hopefully they come out soon and say our money will be put to good use.

Apparently the switch version is based on the android version which was capped at 30fps. Switch runs at 40fps. The iPhone X runs game at 60fps and looks as good or better than switch version. Interesting.

The multiplayer is a blast as well. Finally got to put in some time. 😁

Why spend $20 when it's free-to-play elsewhere?

I just puked in my mouth a little... "free-to-play" is industry slang for micro-transaction hell.

@Heavyarms55 but does the removal of micro-transactions justify the $20 price tag on the Switch version? Not really. As I said before, I've been playing this game for a while now and never had to spend anything, so I think it's a better value to play this game for free even with all its flaws than to spend $20.

You’ve been playing the PC version of this game. You have no idea how it plays on the Switch with microtransactions removed. I’ve played the microtransaction version. This is a completely different game.

In essence, you keep offering your opinion on something you know NOTHING about.

Full single player campaign, robust multiplayer, tons of classes and weapons (many of which you don’t have access to due to the micro transaction nature of the PC game), different game modes, and I could go on.

Not worth $20? Get real, dude.

Until you play the Switch version, please kindly stop pretending you have any idea what you’re talking about. You don’t have a clue.

I’m thinking of buying this game but would like to know something first from someone that’s played it on Switch.

Can you change the x and y axis sensitivity like in most other FPS games? I always find the default settings are never sensitive enough for me.

they say that life’s a carousel, spinning fast you’ve got to ride it well. The world is full of kings and queens who blind your eyes and steal your dreams. It’s heaven and hell.

Can someone please answer me this:
does the game require online subscription initially to sign in, even when only playing campaign? I read somewhere it does, but can't find anything else on this.
I have no subscription and am not planning to get one, but at a 50-ish % sale the single player seems fun enough to get it, IF it's not locked obviously. Given the nature of the game, with progression in both single- and multiplayer linked, I can understand that you need to sign up, and therefore need an online subscription, but I'd like to know if its campaign is at all playable without that.
Thanks in advance.

This game has me so upset. I havent been able to sign on for over a week now and its pathetic. I wrote them an email and they're response was we are aware of the online issue so just play offline.... WTF ? The game was truley made and meant to be played online not offline. Still no update to fix this so called known issue but they dont give a flying turd about us or the game. They made theyre money with this cash grab and not even trying to make a solution for this issue. Shame on Lameloft

@Shiryu How is the game compared to something like CoD? Will it take care of my CoD fix I have for awhile now since all I have is my Switch?

@Tasuki I have a ton of videos up on my YT channel if you want to check them out. Design wise is copy+paste from the CoD unlock formula, with tons of cosmetics and weapons part upgrades to unlock. Fortunately levelling up is rather fast compared to proper games of the genre, possibly due to its mobile origins. There are no micro transactions on the Switch version which is a definite plus. Dom summed it up nicely on his 5/10 review of the game. There is a good game here, one that could be great if not for the fact that it simply gets a bit wonky when all hell brakes lose in online matches. But for well over 90% of my time with the game I am still having some throwaway fun with it and its perfect for a quick fix of fps action. Just don't expect the brilliance, speed and fluidity of COD Black Ops II on the Wii U and you should definitely consider this, there is simply no other game like it on the whole Switch library.
