I finished my 40-course Superworld after almost a year of work.
I'm not the world's most skilled level designer, but I feel like I've got some fun stuff packed in here.
No trolling, no kaizo. Just standard, nostalgic Mario platforming.
If standard "feels like old school Mario" is your thing, please give it some play time and let me know what you think. I'd be super grateful.
@WoomyNNYes I wouldn't really count that as promoting a YouTube channel because making a trailer for a super world or big collab level is kind of a thing in Mario Maker. The video is just part of the level share.
@3R12 That said, there is already a level sharing thread so this should have gone there:
@FishyS thank you - just posted it over there. I did come across that thread but at first it looked like it was older and the replies all pertained to the original post from some years ago.
@WoomyNNYes unless it's an Extreme bicycle riding youtube channel, obviously.

It's not uncommon for someone to make a new account and then immediately make a new thread purely for self-advertising. So the mods here rightfully have to crack down on that. In your case, you were just trying to do a community level share rather than advertise your social media but making a brand new thread with a link makes it look a lot like the people abusing the rules, hence the confusion.
I kind of wish the forums would just delete threads when things like this happen. Anyways, I'll reply to your repost in the sharing thread after I try the world. Level sharing isn't super active here anymore, but there is usually at least some interest anytime new levels are posted. Sharing channels in Mario Maker discord servers are another good way to get your levels played if you haven't already done that.
@WoomyNNYes I never noticed the delete button on the first post says 'delete topic' 😆 Sorry about that, I would have told them if I had realized.
I agree they were being unnecessarily rude but I still don't think they were trying to promote YouTube. They were just trying to get a really good super world they made played. Which technically is self promotion but all you get is maker points in-game. XD If they had put it in the correct spot to start with, wouldn't have been an issue.
I agree a new user posting a link looks super sus though. Anyways, sorry for the back and forth. I wasn't trying to contradict you, just trying to clear things up... which would have worked if they hadn't been rude to you...
Edit: The quoted rules appear to say 'You may use your own personal YouTube channel to share video clips etc.' which is in fact what is happening in this post since the focus is the level code and the YouTube link just shows clips of the levels.
