Topic: Looking for a very specific product; any suggestions on where to find it?

I'm looking for a travel case that has enough room for an extra joy-con, two pro controllers, the dock, a dock meant for on the go play that holds the switch in the air so it can charge while in use on the go (i saw a product like this before but can't seem to find it now), a charging dock for the 4 joy-cons, and some space to hold game cartridges.

I'm not picky about the way I have to carry it, so long as it's not directly in my hands. Anything over the shoulder or on the back is fine.

I'm a nomad, you could say. I tend to take everything with me wherever I go; this includes my wallet, my smart phone, a portable charger for my smart phone, my tablet, a separate portable charger for my tablet, two wireless speakers, two pair of headphones, and a large over-the-shoulder bag to carry it all in.

I know it might look a tad strange to have two over-the-shoulder bags, which is why I also recently purchased a backpack with the space to carry my things if I cannot find a travel case that goes on my back.

Note that at this point, I actually don't even have all the accessories I mentioned, just a Switch, extra joy-cons, and a few games. I tend to plan into my future quite frequently, and I know that I eventually want to have room for all of these accessories.

I'd prefer a link to Walmart's website if it's possible to find the product there, otherwise sites like Amazon, Ebay, or Craigslist would be fine... I don't overly trust Ebay or Craigslist, so I'd prefer Amazon or Walmart.

I thank you in advance for anyone who can redirect me to a product like this, and I apologize to any forum overseers if I happened to put this in the wrong section... -w-

I don't think you will find a case like that as one product. Most cases are designed to carry the Switch, and games, sometimes also a charger and a pro-controller or joycon grip. I would suggest buying a portable Switch Dock like the one Nyko sells(but there are many options on Amazon) and a back up battery, then putting them all in a shoulder bag.

While I bought a different, WaterField has a case that can fit quite of your stuff and look really sharp. Cases are a big issue for me, I don't want my Switch (or 3DS) to sit in any plain looking holder. These guys are fantastic, all their stuff is custom made and priced fairly.

This bag may suit your needs, but it can only be ordered through them. They take all major credit cards and will allow for PayPal purchase as well.

Have you considered a bigger backpack?

(Or not carrying hundreds of dollars worth of electronics everywhere you go?)

XD
I've considered not taking my electronics with me everywhere I go, but I have a lot of things I do on those devices both for work and my personal time, Meowpheel.
And progx, that product definitely looks interesting, but I'm not sure it has enough space for everything I planned on getting.
Also, Matthew010, I only need 4 joy-con, and I was gonna have 2 pro controllers, so that's not for me either...

If anybody wants it, I've compiled a table on Google Sheets that I can post here. It has all the possible products I could get in a checklist style format.

In the case of traveling with video games, it's best to ask yourself "will I realistically need or use this?". Believe me, whenever I travel I also want to have every game console and gadget I own on me.

But the sad truth is that I will not realistically get to use over 80% of them, and I'm just risking losing them for being unreasonably attached to them.

I understand you need your computer, I also use mine to work on the go, however, do you reeeeaaaallyyyy need to lug around an entire six player set up with multiple docks for your Switch everywhere you go?

Meowpheel,

I meant 4 Joy-Con sticks, not 4 sets of Joy-Con. In reality, yes, it can be used for 6 players, but the maximum is 4, and some games use both the left and right stick as one controller.

Also, I tend to use more than 60% of my technology on the go, I only intended upon bringing my Switch with me when I'm not going to work or otherwise doing work related things. I only bring my wallet, my phone, a portable charger, a portable speaker, and a pair of headphones with me when I'm not going to work, unless I actually need my table for something, like debugging my phone using a terminal app.

Also, I don't ever bring headphones or portable speakers to work since the devices are on silent mode while at work.

Have you considered getting a camera carrying bag rather than a bag specifically made for the Switch? Those can be quite large as they are designed to hold multiple lens, film and other paraphernalia, and obviously designed to hold much more expensive electronic devices, so they are safe.

Not sure it may fit in your backpack though, you'll have to carry it by hand...which may be a problem if you'll ever decide to travel and bring with you your Switch, your wallet, your phone, your chargers, your tablet, your speakers, your headphones, your guitar, your saxophone and you 24-track mixer.

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

Tomwoo, nice paper bag you got there. Too bad it won't hold multiple heavy electronic devices without tearing the bottom off...

spizzamarozzi, I'd love to play the guitar, or any instrument for that matter, but I have neither learned to play nor owned either of the instruments you've mentioned.

Now, no more trolls, please. -w-

I would appreciate that, since I'm also looking for a bar that can hold all my switch setup when travelling on vacations, etc.

Anyway, I would need to take less stuff with me, so some of the bags below would work for me...

I second the suggestion for a camera bag, sorry I don't know of specific models. The Switch Backpack might also hold all that stuff, but it wouldn't also fit your laptop and tablet amd accessories, so it would leave you stuck carrying two backpacks.

But I also strongly suggest figuring out what you actually need to carry out of all that stuff. That is a LOT of equipment. It seems like you want to carry basically everything for the Switch, but what are the odds you will need all those things on any one excursion?

At least consider eliminating a dock or two. The JoyCon charging dock is is something you will need on extremely rare occasions, as the JC seem to hold a charge practically forever. And the other two docks are mostly an either/or situation: either you're playing on TV and want the real dock, OR you're playing handheld and want to charge as you play. Not likely you'll need both in one outing.

(Also, two pairs of headphones?)

NintenerdCentral, I appreciate the suggestion. That could be useful.

cambotero, not sure of how my list of Switch products could help you figure out what carrying case to get, but here you go. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1u2U-pBg1jmtyrJoYXQKGc...
Also, if you're curious on the whole "Which to purchase" part, it's there as a thing for my dad to edit later on if and when he plans on buying me a Switch for a gifting holiday. (Note that I did say if.)

JasmineDragon, I honestly wouldn't mind lugging around two backpacks, as I could probably get away with doing so in most places.
(Also, I have two pairs of headphones because I carry around my phone and my tablet most of the time, same for my two speakers and two chargers. I only bring one of each if I only bring my phone.)

Can't you use a single set of headphones for both devices?

Just turn off the bluetooth in the device you're not using.

Meowpheel, they're not bluetooth headphones, they're olden day $5 earbuds. My phone and tablet run Android 4.4 KitKat, they can't run music and games at the same time. I play Minecraft on my tablet while listening to both in-game sounds from there and Spotify from my phone.

Oh earbuds. I somehow assumed you meant the big bulky style.

How do you use two sets of earbuds at once though.
