Topic: Factory reset switch with no joycons

I just factory reset my switch without knowing you need joycons to do so. Is there any way for me to use my switch?

Maybe buy a cheap wired pro controller. I have seen them at places like Wal-mart for $20 and they might even be cheaper now that were getting into the holidays.

Will it definitely work though? It looks like it wants me to dock the 2 joycons..? @Tasuki

@RCheeBeast if you connect a controller to it the switch recognizes it as controller one, which is what it’s trying to do with the joycons right now, so yes. It will work

Out of curiosity, how is it that you have a Switch and no Joy-Cons?

@RCheeBeast plan C: go to a local store where they have a demo model running and ask them if they'll let you use their joycons for a minute to finalize the reset. Good luck!
