This is the second time I’ve seen a mobile game go from “decent” to “great” by being ported to the Switch.

Crashlands on iOS and Android had lots of great qualities, but the click to move/interact system made combat, resource gathering, etc. a tedious, often-frustrating task.

Not only do the Switch controls make movement and combat 10x better, but they’ve even notably increased the interaction radius.

It feels like a whole new game, and it plays smooth as butter.

I might have to buy it for Switch then because I have it PC and mobile, I think the controls are great on mobile. I don't like virtual joystick on phones bc I like playing with one finger. It must really be fantastic on the Switch May I ask what the first game you are talking about is?

The tap-to-move controls on mobile made it very difficult to move quickly and accurately in combat. As you know, you have to keep weaving in and out of the enemy attack zones. It was really clunky. The sticks on the Switch make it much more fluid and fun.

The other game I was referring to is Cat Quest, which uses a similar combat mechanic.
