Hello everyone. New here. I’m working on my own personal project of a sling bag for Nintendo Switch. Already made 2 prototypes and got a bit stuck and would like to hear your suggestions and opinions on it.

There are two major problems:
1. I constantly added new features to the sling, only based on my own experience. And now it’s like I’m developing a smart phone, endless new features and I need to adjust the design and structure again and again. Thus this projects seems to be endless.
2. I’m on my 40s. And I don’t really have close friends playing switch. When I took the prototype and asked my friends for ideas, they didn’t get it… This reminds me of the scene that I played Gameboy some 30 years ago and Nintendo DS 20 years ago though.

Then I realize i should come to switch forum to get some help, since I could know the true needs from other gamers.
It means, besides my own perspective, I need to know which need is needed by most people.
Then I could prioritize this need (or these needs), then I could get this project moved on.

Here comes my priority list, from top to bottom:
A. Key function: store and protect the console, as well as protecting the joycons.
B. when I’m in standing or sitting position, it’s possible to take out and put back the console quickly. If one hand operation is possible, even better.
C. Besides storing the switch console, it’s better to have enough space and pockets to store other stuff, like pro controller or 2 extra joycons, Bluetooth earphone, charger, keys, etc. (If I could make a structure to protect my pro controller well, it would be lovely. But I know it’s not easy. So putting the pro controller in a separate case would be an acceptable alternative to me.)
D. Whenever I could access to an table, the sling should be able to be a stand, allowing the console to lean against to it. Say in a café or in the metro/jet’s cabin.
E. If I cannot reach any table, say, in the taxi or in the public or any outdoor place, this sling should also be a stand. And I could place the console and the sling on my thighs. (sorry for my poor drawing skill… too long thighs, but hope you get the point).

OK. That’s all of the needs that I could think of from my 1000 hours Zelda experience.
Please, if you have time, let me know which need above is essential, indispensable?
Or there is some strong need from your experience that I didn’t cover yet.

THANK YOU for your help!
And I wish I could get a fully functional sling within 2-3 months, hopefully.

P.S, how to insert pix here, so i could upload my models and sketches..

It works maybe a KS could also help but seeing it will help to see how the project is going.

@SwitchForce yes. Maybe KS is an option.

So I cannot upload any pix or video here?

Thanks.
