Topic: Odd placed Ads help

Ok not sure if anyone else is having this problem but yesterday and today I have been having problem with adds popping up in weird places on Nintendo Life. It just happens on this site not on any other sites like Pushsquare or IMDB or Club Nintendo so I figure it might be something to do with the site here. I have this Call of Duty banner popping up on the links like Forums-General Discussion-NAME OF THE THREAD. Also I am getting a Starbucks add popping up at the bottom of the page as well. Also since these banners have appeared, it is making Nintendo Life load really slow on my PC.

Not sure if there is anything I can do to fix this problem as it is rather annoying.

Do the ads say Scorpion Saver by an chance? If so, go into your add-ons/extensions or whatever and delete it.

Is it better now? Hopefully the top ones should be aligned (centered) and the one at the bottom of the page gone.

We're still trying to get some better (ie, game specific) ads in the US, but will take a bit more time.

Ads can be annoying, Maybe you should consider downloading Adblock?

Of course that's anyone's right, but if you let us know and if we can improve positioning and stuff, it doesn't strip us of income like Adblock does. Just to throw another perspective in there!

At least on my 3DS, the ads seem fixed! I'll have to check my PC a bit later.

@antdickens: Its all fixed now thanks. Also glad to see that it just wasn't me having this problem.

Since I use an iPad, most of the adds are invisible for me.

Do you guys still get the money for these or is it like adblocking them?

Ok looks like I spoke too soon. I still get a Call of Duty banner overlapping the stuff at the top of my screen as I said before.

Well when I go to the home page of Nintendo Life I am getting the add placed at the bottom of the screen just like the picture Gioku posted above. Also I still have the problem of the Call of Duty add covering up the links at the top of the page.

@Tasuki is that still happening? can you email me a screenshot?

@antdickens: Sorry for the late reply I had a little bit of family stuff going on for the holidays. So far today I have not had that problem. The Call of Duty banner is gone as well as the add down at the bottom of the page. Not sure if you were doing some behind the scene work or it fixed itself but for now everything is running good.
