Hello evryone and thanks for helping me out!
Before I start this I want to let you guys now that my english is pretty bad im dutch.
Latly I saw a few little scratches at my upper 3ds screen.
Even though their really smal they still bother me for some kind of reason.
Is their any way to get them removed for cheap or with a little handy trick?
You would make me so happy if i could get them removed and if I do I will buy a screen protector to prevent it from happening angain.

Apparently toothpaste or a baking soda/water mixture work for small scratches.

Try putting some toothpaste on a soft cloth (like one specifically designed for cleaning glass, nothing too rough) and gently buffing the scratch.

Did you use this method yourself? And in all seriousness is there a toothpaste you recommend? I have a little scratch on my 3DS too...

thanks for the helping caviarmeth but isn't toothpaste going to make it worse?

Seems to be verified by quite a few sources for things like CDs and iPhone screens.

Toothpaste is basically polish, so it should work to buff out small scratches. Worth a try anyway. If you're just using plain old toothpaste, it wouldn't make it any worse.

Oh, a dutch friend! lol...I'm currently staying with my girlfriend in Belgium. So, let's try this in Dutch.
Ik gebruikte laatst dit artikel om krassen te verwijderen van touchscreens (tablet + PS Vita). En het is ideaal voor lichte krassen, diepere krassen zijn helaas niet te verhelpen. Beetje prijzig, wel...

Oh, and scratches are way less noticable after you apply a screen protector, i recommend you do this for all mobile screens, tbh!

To prevent this in the future put a cloth between the screen and buttons when closed.

And maybe this is a stupid question but it says for tablets and smartfones so does it also work on 3ds xl sorry if i sound stupid just not wanting to waist 16 euro on a product that does't work

Octane

''Touchscreen'' Sealer, unless your upper 3DS screen is a touch screen, I wouldn't know. I guess there's a reason why they handle regular screens and touch screens differently.

So it wouldn't work to bad

I think the scratch you described is small enough for it to help. As long as it's not a 'deep' scratch, that is. It worked pretty good on my iPad Air screen, as wel as on my PS Vita. It should definitely work on 3DS screens as well

Well it kind of looks like there is a hair laying on my screen so i wouldn't say it is deep but it says displex touchscreen sealer and my upper screen isn't a touch screen so will it still work
