We've all seen things we wished caught on, were utilized differently, or taken advantage more.
Let's discuss them, regardless of medium.
I'll start it off: DS/3DS to Wii/Wii U connectivity.
You know games need a sequel/remake? Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and The Legend of Zelda: Four Sword Adventures.
Especially since games like Smash Wii U, and Crystal Chronicles: Echos of Time prove it's legitimately possible to do them now. Hell, with the Wii U GamePad you could up the players to 5! Why has nobody jumped on this? There's so many possibilities!
Multiplayer in Four Swords Adventures was a pretty expensive set-up. It basically required multiple $100 controllers. I get the idea behind it though; Everybody brings their own GBA, but I don't think that local multiplayer is that popular anymore.
The connectivity in Pokémon games was neat, but I don't really expect another Pokémon game to hit the consoles any time soon.
So...could this thread alternatively be named "The 'D'oh, I Missed' Thread"?
Seems like a missed opportunity to me if it isn't.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
