Favorite color in an abstract sort of way is purple. Abstract because it usually looks terrible outside of nature - so it's not like I'd wear purple other than as an accent, or drive a purple car, you get the idea.
A little bit darker purple is quite nice as well. I'm also extremely fond of blue, to the point where it's almost a tie. Although actually, I think blue wins in a flower color contest:

I'm guessing you never played Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow then, Starboy. That's where I picked that one up (Fuchsia City), along with virdian, pewter, cerulean, vermillion, lavendar, celadon, saffron, cinnabar...people don't know how useful Pokémon is for learning off-beat color names.

I played Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow, Feenie. I didn't remember the word being there (due to the fact that I played the EU version).
Ahh, really? Well yeah, that might have changed it. It was the town you fought Koga the ninja poison-type Gym Leader for the Soul Badge, and it also contained the Safari Zone (though now that I think about it, if the town name was changed, then maybe none of these names make sense...) Here's the Bulbapedia article in case I just confused you more.
