I've read a few topics, but for the most part, don't really find the site too interesting. Then again, my favourite gaming franchise has pretty much no discussion online anywhere except my own forum, so looking for topics about it on Reddit would be utterly pointless.

I'm a 4chan user. Never used Reddit. It was just something about 4chan that I liked, plus I can't get off of it mean that literally. I haven't stop using 4chan every single day for mouths on end, I mostly stay in the /v/, /a/, /vg/, and when I hate myself /b/. (speaking of it why does a Reddit thread stay and a 4chan one gets lock?)

Because 4Chan.
I hear it gets pretty evil there. Like actual evil in certain parts of 4chan. I've never been but what i've heard is more than enough for me to avoid it.

4chan isn't that bad if you're in the right board and you avoid the smash threads and s***posters. Sure there are some real idiots there (/v/ I'm looking at you) but it still not all that bad. I actually got a lot of clam and mature coversations there.

I'm sure you can have calm and mature discussions in a frat house restroom. That doesn't make it any more desireable.
I mostly stick to smaller subreddits, not to sound pretentious but a subreddit's community can get real bad once it has 100,000+ subscribers. That said, /r/games is pretty much like an RSS feed for game news to me.
True r/smashbros has been getting worse recently especially around Sm4sh release but I still visit it everyday almost.

The thing is 4chan still isn't as bad as you think. If you think that way Reddit and the Youtube comment section is just as bad as 4chan because of a few people are idiots and creeps. Just don't go to any of the other boards I listed and learn the difference between s***posters and non s***posters. It as simple as learning what Youtuber to not watch and what comment is bait on Youtube.
