Here's what I predict:
I already know about Sonic Dash, a new iOS endless runner starring Sonic the hedgehog and friends,
Sonic Jump add-on content (Mechanical Zone; Shadow, Vector, Cream)
And the next Sonic 3D platformer (Sonic Adventure 3? )
I also predict Sonic 4 Episode III, a new handheld Sonic title (most likely a handheld version of the next mainstream Sonic game), and a new re release (Sonic Heroes or Knuckles Chaotix possibly), and possibly a new Sonic compilation (collection of classic games like Sonic 1, 2, 3 & K, CD, etc.).
Those are my predictions. This is not a Sonic game ideas thread, but I do have a thread for that.

Anyways, this is just a predictments thread for what you think Sega will have to offer for Sonic fans this year. Personally I think this year will be a big year for Sonic because last year Sonic didn't have very many games. Please post your predictments below!

Sonic Riders 3

Predicament is another word for problem. Do you think that there will be problems with whatever Sonic game Sega releases?

If we are talking about predicting a game, I would hope for Sonic Adventure 3, but I know that won't happen.

I hope not! Plus, isn't Sonic Free Riders technically Sonic Riders 3? I think it is.
Anyways, I wouldn't be suprised if they made a Mario & Sonic 2013 but I think they've ran out of ideas for that series. Maybe it should've been a one-hit-wonder?
What if they made a Mario VS Sonic RPG? I can't see that happening though.
I'll just stick with my predictions.

The fanbase would complain about the game, regardless of what it is. That much I know.

I would be a very happy person if Sonic Adventure 3 was announced, but I'm not holding my breath for that one. It's likely a new 3D game will be announced though.

If they make Sonic Adventure 3, they should make Sonic Heroes 2 after. Sonic Heroes wasn't my first Sonic game (Sonic Mega Collection was; I played Sonic 1 first on the game so technically Sonic 1 was my first Sonic game) but it was one of my favorites as a child. In case you're asking, "How old are you? Are you just a kid?" Well I grew up during the 128-bit era (GCN, PS2, XBOX) and am 14 years old. Anyways, yeah I want both Sonic Adventure 3 and Sonic Heores 2.

Us actual Sonic fans have been generally fine with the series since Colors, for the first time since Sonic & Knuckles.

"Predictments" is not a word. "Predictions" would work just fine on both accounts in this paragraph. I'm sorry; I don't mean to be so anal about it, but sometimes when I see something so blantantly off, I feel I should say something.

On topic, though, I, like everyone else, would like a legitimate "Mario & Sonic" crossover. I do not think it is terribly outside the realm of possibility, as the Olympic Games series has set a precident, but it is something that will take years to see, in my opinion.

As for a main series game, I think Colors and Generations have established a good track record with the fanbase. I'm sure that, whatever they announce, they know what they are doing.

I REALLY wish they would continue the Mario & Sonic series, but go into other genres.
Yes, the Olympics made sense at first, but I'd like to see a racing game, or a platformer.

As for ONLY Sonic, I think it will be something like what we've already seen in Colors, but hopefully with other playable characters, like Tails.

If they went out and made Colors 2, I would want it to have all the wisps plus more, and levels and music as cool and fantastic as the 1st.No more playable characters unless its blaze.

Tails is my second favorite character. I think if they make Sonic Adventure 3, they're bound to add playable characters (probably six, and maybe others in multiplayer mode). I hope Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, and Amy are the playable characters in Story Mode, with Rouge, Metal Sonic, Espio, Vector, Charmy, Blaze, Cream, E-102 Gamma, Tikal, Chaos, and Egg-Robo are playable in 2P mode along with the 6 main. For 2P Mode, there can be cooperative gameplay, racing gameplay, and battle gameplay. Also there can be Sub Games, similar to Sonic Adventure's but with different stages that cannot be found in Story Mode and playable with 2 people. Also I was thinking there could be Missions akin to Sonic Generations and unlockable levels where you can play as Sonic in 16-bit glory but in different levels based on Sonic Adventure 3's stages, and can be played with another player after unlocking all Chaos Emeralds. There are as many retro-looking levels as there are in Story Mode of Sonic Adventure 3. Is that a good idea?
